Life Update
I have some amazing news to share with you all! Firstly my fiancé signed his contract, and will be starting his new position in the finance sector next week! This is incredible news as he was previously working as a freelance videographer while he was still studying at university, and only four days into his job hunt he secured a great job in a Fortune 500 company.
Secondly, I have been overwhelmed with happiness recently with all the beautiful blessings in my life, and we will be moving the wedding date closer! This means I’ll be even more busy with wedding planning over the next few months. We decided to move the date up due to my fiance’s new job, and also our decision to have the wedding in Australia so that more people could attend. Even though we will no longer be having the wedding in Boracay, we’ve secured a breathtaking beachside location for the wedding. Plus, this means our bucks/hens weekend away will be even more exciting before the big day!
Lastly, I have finished my first week on my new training program designed by my friend Tiffany. As our group will be hitting up Bali at the end of the year for Will’s dirty 30 celebration, all the girls have banded together to #ShredForBali. We’ve said goodbye to unhealthy food, goodbye to long rest periods during workouts, and hello to losing around 5kgs each in 16 weeks. Now I’m in the gym for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, and sweating like CRAZY! Nutrition, and consistent exercise can be very difficult to go at it alone so it’s been great going through the obstacles of lowering our BFP’s together with a tight knit support group of my bridesmaids. I’ve even gone from a AUS size 10 to a size 8 in four weeks!
So now that I’m taking better care of my body, of course I was excited to review the 18 in 1 range from AMR Beauty!

18 in 1 is a brand sold exclusively on AMR beauty. This brand is Australian made, cruelty free as they don’t test any of their products on animals, and their products are paraben free, sulfate free and salt free!
Why is Salt bad for your hair?
Just like our skin, our hair can also become dehydrated by too much salt. Having salt in hair products leaves your hair drier, more brittle, and less managable.
Why are Parabens bad for your hair?
Parabens have been linked in some studies to causing breast cancer. While the amount in beauty products is small, large doses, and high exposure could potentially result in cancer.
Why are Sulphates bad for your hair?
“Sulfates are synthetic ingredients partially based on sulfur, which is derived from petrolatum or other sources”. They cause beauty products to foam up so that a smaller quantity of the product has to be used but they can cause allergic reactions, aggravate the skin, and are bad for the environment as petrolatum is a non-renewable resource.

As someone with naturally wavy hair, and a history of hair dyes, having a great haircare routine is a must in order for me to still have hair on my head. My hair gets frizzy in high humidity, and can get dry when it’s cold outside.
My favourite product from 18 in 1 was the Argan Oil, Keratin, Panthenol & Vitamin E Thermal Spray as I blow dry, and straighten my hair three times a week. The thermal spray produces a milky, lightweight substance that is easy to rub through your hair, and doesn’t make my hair sticky for when I’m straightening it.
The 18 in 1 Argan Oil, Keratin, Panthenol & Vitamin E Smoothing Cream has been great for when I leave my hair naturally wavy. It helps embattle humidity so that my hair doesn’t frizz up as soon as I encounter heat. However, it does use my hair to have slight waves when straightened.
Lastly, I personally don’t use shampoo, and only use conditioner to wash my hair as past shampoos I’ve used have dried my hair. The 18 in 1 Argan Oil, Keratin, Panthenol & Vitamin E Nourishing Conditioner smells delicious as it wafts through my steamy showers, and doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy. What I love about the conditioner as even though it is a salon grade conditioner, it comes in 500ml, and 1L at still an affordable price.
In conclusion, I do like the 18 in 1 haircare range, and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cruelty free, and environmentally conscious haircare brand.
