The weather in Australia is so hot right now as summer is practically sprinting it’s tan body at us. The days are long, sun is blisteringly hot, and all we need some damn refreshments please!
But instead of gorging on soft drinks, or drowning in frose, the Solerno provides a sophisticated summer drink that is definitely #instaworthy!
To find the perfect summer drink, I’ve teamed up with Agent99 Public Relations in Sydney to introduce the new Solerno drink – a beautifully made blood orange liqueur from Lesley Gracie. Solerno is the world’s first blood orange liqueur that is made from Siciliy’s blood oranges, named Sanguinello.
The Sanguinello from Sicily’s Mt Etna is the perfect combination of bittersweet, and spice, and picked when the fruit is at it’s most vibrant, and flavourful. So for my summer, I'll definitely have a glass or two of Solerno Serata!
Ingredients:
45ml Solerno Liqueur (40% alcohol)
30ml Ruby Grapefruit Juice
60ml Sparkling Water
2 Dashes of Orange Bitters (38% alcohol)
How to make:
Combine all ingredients in a glass on ice, stir, and top it off with a sprig of rosemary for that extra touch!

Ingredients
180ml Solerno Liqueur
180ml Chai Tea
120ml Pomegranate Juice
120ml Dry Sparkling Wine
60ml Fresh Lemon Juice
Punnet of Strawberries
2 oranges
How to make:
Cut the strawberries and oranges, combine all ingredients in a tall jug with ice. and stir well. Top it off with some fresh mint!
